An Enlightening Sculpture of Robert Burns

On a recent visit to the Parliament building in Edinburgh, Scotland, I came face to face with this clever sculpture(s). Artist David Mach (b. 1956) created these life sized busts to commemorate the 250th birthday of Poet Robert Burns in 2008. One was lit to open a Poetry Festival  and the other one was left untouched. To that I say—”Brilliant!”

The head of Robert Burns made of the heads of match sticks.
