Sad Day

Why was it a sad day? Because it was commencement day where I work (Bismarck State College). This was by far the best graduating class I’ve ever had the privilege of instructing and I hate to see them leave. I so looked forward to showing up for work every morning (8:00 am)!

We graduated all of our students who finished. We finished with 27 out of 32 (who started the program). 2o of the 27 took part in commencement. 9 of them were Phi Theta Kapa’s and looked spiffy wearing the gold. We were even asked  to be in family pictures afterwards, which hardly ever happens.

Any one of these students could have been a Student of the Year in any other year. Thank goodness I have the summer to mope around and get over losing such a great class to graduation. Best of luck Class of 2013.
