Chip Kidd

Last week the college I work for hosted graphic designer and author—Chip Kidd. He is considered one of the top graphic designers working in the field today and makes GDUSA magazine’s list as one of the most influential designers in the last 50 years. He gave several presentations to students, design professionals and the public on our campus.

For over a day I got to hang out with this icon. What a delight that was. He was the consummate professional who gave our students thoughtful advice on entering and working in the field of graphic design. He was a heck of a guy who will be remembered for a long time at Bismarck State College’s Graphic Design and Communications Department.
